You Are My Home

You glimmer in the sun
Even when the night has taken over I’m better by your side
You help me see the light as we roam

So even when our boat goes gliding down the coast away from here And even if the trees start sharking in the breeze over us

You are my home.

When I hit the ground,
You remind me how to stand
We lean into the light,
And help each other see how we’ve grown

So even if our walls try to crumble down and fall into broken things And even if the glass in our windows doesn’t last ‘till we’re gone

I know that we’re only human

Those words are like a house
